Other General Reminders:

  • We had a Shelter in Place Drill this week.  The staff and students did very well practicing for a scenario that we hope to never use in real life.  Thanks everyone.

  • Wednesday is the last day of the First Quarter.  Teachers, grades are due on Friday.  Finish strong!!  Parents, be on the lookout for teachers to be setting up conferences to discuss your child’s progress thus far.  Report cards will be going home on the 27th.

  • Please keep your child at home if he/she is exhibiting any of the Covid symptoms. Unfortunately, we are required to send students home who have or develop any Covid-19 symptoms during the school day.  The student may not return until all symptoms have subsided and there is a negative Covid test or an alternative diagnosis from a doctor. You will be contacted by Ms. Bridget, the school nurse or myself with every absence.

  • The last week in October will be our annual Red Ribbon / Spirit Week.  We will have a wear red day, neon day, pajama day, dress to impress day, and kids will be allowed to wear their Halloween costumes on Friday.

  • We will be collecting tennis balls and oyster shells all year this year.  Please bring some if you can.
